The Arty edition offers a new version of the Dandy watch: the cushion-shaped case (40mm) has the usual proportions and straight lines of Dandy watch. The dial disappears to reveal the movement plate, black lacquered and surrounded by an audacious flange. The two juxtaposed counters enable a horizontal time-reading: with the hours and minutes positioned on one side of the dial at 9, and the small second’s indicator on the other at 3.
"Today, Chaumet ventures further into bold design with an new Arty watch, more surprising than ever"
Snowy obsidian and steel or tiger’s eye and pink gold are the two amazing combinations of this bold Dandy Arty, edited in two limited series of 12 and 18 pieces. They come with a black patent leather strap with satin bayadère stripe and folding buckle.
The House’s jewellery craftsmanship adorns it with two new flanges in ornamental stones, protected by a sapphire glass. Thus, the flakes of the snow obsidian model or the golden hues of tiger’s eye continue their journey towards the hours, minutes and seconds. Every ornamental stone motif is one of a kind which makes each edition of these timepieces unique.
The watchmaking know-how of the House transforms it into a lively spectacle.
The movement plate has been skilfully cut-out to reveal a section of the mechanism’s bridge as well as the infinite rotation of the second’s wheel. On the reverse, the case-back unveils, through a sapphire glass engraved with the emblematic Dandy bayadère striped motif, the automatic rewinding mechanism designed by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht for Chaumet.
