The spider weaves its web of love, and the bee pirouettes in a farandole of flowers before succumbing to its soulmate. It is an ode to the games of love, an inexhaustable source of inspiration for Chaumet whose creations combine poetry, beauty, savoir-faire and exclusivity; exclusive because they are original and unique pieces of Haute Joaillerie, such as the 24 "Attrape moi … si tu m’aimes" watches in white gold and diamonds - 24 unique, delicate and poetic timepieces that provide the charming backdrop formed by the spider and the bee. The dials - multicoloured theatres of precious champlevé enamel enhanced by diamonds and cabochon-cut coloured stones - become spectacular works of art. The art of enamelling is a gold-working technique used by Chaumet since the 19th century. Cells or troughs are carved into a gold plate according to a design and are then filled with vitreous enamel. Each colour is refined before being hand-applied by paintbrush onto each dial, then fired separately at high temperature. A traditional art of sublime precision that makes the 24 "Attrape moi … si tu m’aimes" watches beautiful ambassadors of Chaumet’s inimitable art.
