The new Liens High Jewellery collection is inspired by Chaumet's heritage and alludes to a necklace created by the Maison in 1907, which was adorned with the Liens motif for the first time ever.
The lien motif is part of the tradition of sentimental jewellery, of the 17th century love knots. It has been found in archives dating back to the Belle Époque and to the Art Deco period, on draft sketches of diadems, bracelets and necklaces.
