From yesterday to today, Chaumet has been inspired by creations from far-off lands. The best of the world’s civilisations have fuelled its imagination, giving rise to the making, in the centre of Paris, on place Vendôme, of jewellery pieces that evoke myriad fertile journeys through distant lands.
The new Laurier Precious Jewellery collection celebrates the symbolic plant that has been a continuous presence in the Maison’s creations. Reinterpreted in diamonds and white gold, this glorious laurel serves to magnify contemporary femininity.
Chaumet’s library welcomes a third box-set of three books published by Assouline. Celebrating the High Jewellery collections and two of the Maison’s founding themes, these works mark an annual invitation to delve into Chaumet’s culture.
Chaumet is present in more than 80 boutiques in the world main capital cities: Paris, London, Tokyo, Beijing, Hong Kong, Moscow… but also through a vast network of approved retailers, that is about 450 points of sales.
Chaumet has reopened, this Monday 4th of December, its boutique on rue François Ier. Redesigned around the emblematic codes of the Maison and dedicated to Chaumet’s jewellery creations, it offers a precious showcase to welcome visitors.
A story of Hortensias... It all begins with the considerable orders of the empresses Joséphine and Marie-Louise and afterwards the queen Hortense, who wore hortensias as corsage brooches, bouquets or garlands separable into brooches. Important though personal jewels, reserved for the private and social sphere, reflecting the feminity and the poetry of this pattern, only recently admired in the botanical gardens.
The Hortensia Aube Rosée collection invites us into a delicate garden filled with vibrant colour. Here, an explosion of volumes and shapes in subtle variations of powdery pinks provide seductive pieces that delight every day.
