Chaumet, a Parisian jeweller since 1780, has always used its creations to celebrate beauty, talent and stardom. From the Empress Josephine to the biggest names in fine arts and entertainment, over the centuries, all have succumbed to the magical sparkle of the jewels invented by Chaumet.

For several years, Chaumet has been paying tribute to the artists who have a land in some of today’s greatest films and highlights the new wave of Cinema. Chaumet luxury watches and jewellery dazzle on red Carpets from Cannes to Hollywood.

Mistinguett

A French actress and singer, was a national star. Like all the women of the time, she commissioned a magnificent pearl necklace, one of the jeweller's flagship pieces in the 1920s.

Sacha Guitry

A famous playwright, author and actor, was one of the Chaumet House's best customers.

On each of his visits, the store was transformed into a theatre set. His most beautiful acquisitions were intended for the women in his life, who he liked to cover in jewellery.

Lana Marconi

A Romanian actress and Sacha Guitry's last wife, was one of his muses and worked on 12 of his films.

In the photograph, they are shown at the Opéra de Paris at the première of the film "Et si Versailles m'était conté" (Royal Affairs in Versailles). Lana Marconi is wearing a magnificent set of jewels including a platinum and diamond tiara, a piece of jewellery representative of the jeweller's expertise.

The Dolly Sisters

Music Hall dancers and actresses originally from Hungary, enjoyed a prominent career in the 1920s in the United States.

Both were loyal customers and made several commissions for pearl necklaces (see picture below), devant de corsage brooches (see picture below), diamond earrings, watch bracelets and even rings.

Yvonne Printemps

A French lyric soprano and dramatic actress who was married to Sacha Guitry and received many gifts from him.

In 1924, he bought her an Art Déco style bracelet. Combining the finesse of Chaumet with the power of a cabochon emerald of 111 carats, this bracelet was one of her favourite pieces, that she wore with many others on the same wrist, as was the fashion. A true diva, Yvonne Printemps was famous for her exploits, her fine outfits and her jewellery which was some of the most beautiful of the time.

Lili Damita

A French actress and wife of the American actor Errol Flynn, had a passion for jewellery. She commissioned several platinum and diamond bracelets from Chaumet (see picture below), together with a pearl necklace.
