CHAPTER 1: Botanic Freshness
The first chapter of the collection opens with a sensation of botanic freshness. One by one, the Tea Field, Verbena Bouquet and Mint Leaf parures envelop you in light, verdant, almost tangy notes. The sensory journey starts.
Tea Field
White gold reflects the freshness of water. The intense, deep green of emeralds evokes tea. Playing with relief and contours, five pieces compose a parure of stunning, fluid and organic, almost liquid volumes.
This creation required more than 1,400 hours of work.
Drawing inspiration from the numerous sketches of spilling forms preserved in the Maison’s archives, from waterfalls to terraced tea fields, the influences mix and intertwine. Imagination takes the place of reality.
Each more mysterious than the next, superb Colombian emeralds bring a unique touch of colour to the pieces. One of these stones, weighing 23.81 carats, is set in a necklace of sculptural curves that required more than 1,400 hours of work to produce. Thanks to the fil couteau technique, the metal becomes almost invisible, fully revealing the brilliance of the gems.
Verbena Bouquet
Inspired by a feeling of lightness, the three Verbena Bouquet pieces prominently feature a signature Chaumet stylistic element: mesh.
This creation required more than 1,000 hours of work.
Delicate and remarkably supple, it has been realised in yellow gold for the first time. Illustrative of Chaumet’s creative flair, the parure magnifies a beautiful selection of Madagascar and Ceylon sapphires, whose extraordinary pairing required significant hours of research.
Individually chosen and positioned on the pieces for their pastel hues, from yellow to green, sometimes with a touch of blue, they provide a refreshing and dreamlike colour palette.
Mint Leaf
Aquamarines and pearls, glacial blue and dazzling white, geometric lines and organic curves.
Recalling the shape of a swimming pool and the reflections of water against its edges, the five Mint Leaf creations compose a summery parure with an invigorating and refreshing appeal.
Perfectly matched, superb emerald-cut aquamarines include an impressive 17.46-carat stone set on the necklace. Playing with volume and transparency, they offer striking contrasts against white gold.
