At the heart of place Vendôme, the epicentre of Parisian luxury, lies the history of Chaumet. In 1812, the Maison became the first jeweller to take up residence on this mythical square, at no. 15.
It was in 1907 that Joseph Chaumet chose no. 12 as the Maison’s permanent home. Today, this emblematic address houses a boutique, historic grand salons and the High Jewellery workshop: a triple vocation that defines this exceptional venue.
A space where the spirit of Maison Chaumet lives on.
This secret place is where jewellers, gem-setters and polishers work each day to bring the most precious creations to life.
This exceptional savoir-faire, which can only be reproduced by hand, has been passed on from artisan to artisan since 1780.
The most intricate pieces of jewellery, the Maison’s signature tiaras, are crafted here.
At 12 Vendôme, the emblematic collections come to life. Joséphine, where pear-cut diamonds embody a bold femininity.
Bee de Chaumet, creations in brilliant gold and diamonds inspired by the imperial bee.
Liens, sentimental jewellery engraved with symbolic messages.
Every visit immerses you in the heart of the Maison’s world, between heritage, creativity and emotion.
The grand salons at 12 Vendôme are jewels of the 18th and 19th centuries. The Chopin Salon, classed as a historical monument, is where the famous composer wrote his final piece.
Since it was established, the Maison has been able to preserve many priceless treasures. The private salon on the first floor, with its breathtaking view of the Vendôme column, provides the perfect setting for exceptional pieces and special orders.
