18-carat gold, also known as 750‰ gold, is an alloy comprising 75% pure gold combined with other metals to improve its strength and durability.
Chaumet uses only 18-carat gold for its jewellery, which is available in yellow, rose and white gold.
All Chaumet jewellery in 18-carat gold bears the eagle’s head hallmark, guaranteeing the purity of the metal used.
