An engagement ring is traditionally given when a marriage proposal is made. Usually set with a diamond, it symbolises the promise of union.

A wedding band is exchanged during the wedding ceremony. With a simpler design, it is worn by both spouses to celebrate their commitment.

Inspired by the story of Joséphine and Napoleon, Chaumet creates symbolic jewellery to mark life’s most precious moments. Each Chaumet engagement ring is designed to complement its matching wedding band perfectly, forming a harmonious pair.
