Your Chaumet watch is covered by a two (2) year International Warranty covering any lack of conformity arising under normal conditions of use, effective from the date of purchase shown on your Certificate of Authenticity.
This certificate must be duly completed and validated with the stamp of a Chaumet boutique or an authorised Chaumet retailer.
This International Warranty applies without prejudice to the legal warranties and applicable laws in the country of purchase.
The following are not covered by the warranty:
- Normal wear on the watch;
- Any improper or abusive use (impacts, crushing, operating the crown or pushers while underwater, failing to reposition the crown correctly, etc.);
- Straps;
- The use of a battery other than one specified by Chaumet for quartz movements;
- Damage resulting from work, repairs or disassembly carried out by an unauthorised service provider.
For any work carried out under the warranty, your watch must be taken to a Chaumet boutique or an authorised Chaumet retailer.
The warranty applies only upon presentation of the Chaumet Certificate of Authenticity.
Once the two (2) year warranty period has expired, the customer is responsible for the cost of any repairs.
Only genuine Chaumet watches are eligible for repair work.
Any work carried out by the After-Sales Service is covered by a one (1) year repair warranty from the date of repair, subject to applicable laws and the legal warranties in force.
This warranty applies only upon presentation of the service certificate or repair invoice.
