To ensure that your Chaumet jewellery retains its brilliance and beauty over time, regular care is essential. 

We recommend avoiding prolonged contact with water and chemicals and protecting it from impacts. Proper cleaning will also help to guarantee your jewellery's longevity. 

For a piece of jewellery made of gold or platinum: 

• Clean it regularly using a soft, dry cloth.  

For a piece of jewellery with stones: 

• Clean it with a little lukewarm water and soap, using a cloth or soft brush, then dry it carefully.  

For a piece of jewellery with pearls: 

• Use a mild soap applied with a damp cloth, then gently dry your jewellery.  

We also recommend that you take your jewellery to one of our Chaumet boutiques or authorised retailers once a year to take advantage of our complimentary cleaning service*. 

* This service is carried out in one of our boutiques or workshops.

To protect your Chaumet jewellery creations and ensure they retain their brilliance over time, you must store them carefully.

Each piece of jewellery should be stored separately in its original box or in a soft pouch to prevent scratches caused by contact with other items.

For chains, always store them fastened to prevent them from becoming knotted or tangled.

We also recommend that you store your jewellery in a dry place, away from moisture, direct light and any contact with chemicals.

Your Chaumet jewellery creation is covered by the legal warranties applicable in the country of purchase.

The following are not covered by these warranties:

• Normal wear and natural ageing;
• Improper or abusive use, which includes impacts, drops or crushing;
• Damage resulting from work, repairs or dismantling carried out by an unauthorised network, for which Chaumet cannot be held liable.

In addition to these legal warranties, Chaumet can carry out any repair that is feasible.

Only genuine Chaumet jewellery creations are eligible for repair work.

Any work carried out by the Chaumet After-Sales Service is covered by a one (1) year repair guarantee from the date of repair, subject to applicable laws and the legal warranties in force.

This repair warranty is subject to the same exclusions as those mentioned for the purchase guarantee.

It applies only upon presentation of the service certificate or repair invoice.
