Wings, always wings

Though the Maison has continually celebrated flora and fauna for 245 years, in 2026 it has chosen to pay tribute to another facet of this unique narrative woven between Chaumet and nature.
A symbol of self-affirmation, imbued with freedom and grandeur, wings have always inspired Chaumet’s creations and lend their momentum to the pieces in the new Envol High Jewellery collection.

The call of azure

Dress yourself with majestic wings with multiple portés and a signature shade of blue, magnified by deep midnight blue sapphires and grand feu enamel, to signify the Maison’s savoir-faire excellence. With Envol, the Maison unveils its first recent entirely enamelled collection, thus breathing new life into a technique that has punctuated its history for nearly 250 years.

Between interplays of transparency and gradient hues, between depth and brilliance, blue is honoured through three shades enhanced by the grand feu enamel technique carried out in a specialised workshop.

The tiara

Able to be worn in four different ways, the aigrette tiara, a Chaumet signature, is an exemplary technical feat. From low-key to extravagant in its traditional form, it can be transformed into a bold mask or various brooches. Inviting fantasy, its wings encourage self-reinvention and perpetuate Chaumet's great tradition of creativity.

The brooches

Designed both for her and for him, the Envol High Jewellery capsule unveils two brooches, combining grand feu enamel and diamonds, which can be adapted by anyone as desired. A deep midnight blue sapphire can be suspended from one of them, adding an extra touch of sophistication.

The necklace

From the V-shape inspired by the aigrette to the addition of the sapphire or spread wings, each element can be carefully assembled or detached, offering the wings the freedom to rest around the neck or be worn as a brooch, reinventing their appearance as desired.

A timeless motif

With their powerful symbolism, wings soared at Chaumet in the 1870s and were at the height of their popularity during the Belle Époque.

Adopted by exceptional women, Gertrude Payne Whitney, selected a pair in translucent blue enamel in 1910. Today an emblematic piece in Chaumet collections, the latter has directly inspired the new Envol High Jewellery collection.
