To women everywhere committed to growing culture

To continue and enrich its long-standing commitment to art and culture, Chaumet is creating a new engagement programme: the Echo Culture Awards.

This Prize aims to support women who, through their action in the field, are committed to passing down culture, so that it can be circulated and shared. The projects of these “purveyors of culture” create meetings, bring people together, and shape dynamics, encouraging curiosity and exchange.

With the belief that culture is a powerful means of creating links, with this Prize, the Maison Chaumet will shine a light on three practical, cultural projects, conceived by women who act daily for change.

The Chaumet Echo Culture Awards reward cultural projects that create social links and diversify audiences, with a real and measurable impact in their field. They are intended to be long-term, recurring or permanent.

Projects may pertain to any creative field, such as visual arts, design, literature, crafts, built heritage preservation, teaching, performing arts and more!

ACTRESS AND PRESIDENT OF THE JURY
“Culture and art are most often the result of teamwork. A team that unites those in the shadows and in the spotlight. This personal adventure with Chaumet allows me to take advantage of my exposure to shed light on those who, hidden, make artistic and cultural projects come to life.

This project is very close to my heart and I am delighted to serve as its president.”

Jean-Marc Mansvelt
CEO OF CHAUMET

“I have often been struck by the quality, the generosity and the clarity of projects which, far from the big institutions, are committed to helping people discover culture, so that it remains a wonderful opportunity to forge much-needed links and solidarity. As I wanted to know more about the people behind these initiatives, it occurred to me that this word was very often written in the feminine form in French.

This is why Chaumet is launching the Echo Culture Awards programme, so that the voices of all these women can be heard.”
