Located at 12 Place Vendôme, Chaumet will open its doors to the public for the duration of its exhibition in the Baudard de Saint James salons highlighting the role of architecture and the decorative arts as sources of inspiration for jewellery pieces. The hortensias are a part of her precious botanical collections, like Redouté's boards demonstrate.
Thus Nitot et Fils create for her in 1807 a wide diamonds set includind a delicate Hortensia garland which gathers nearly 300 carats.
