Le Jardin de Chaumet

Fields

Chapter 2

Instilled with the beauty of the woods, the walker emerges to discover the special sight of fields of wheat gilded by the sun and rows of vines awaiting harvest.

In this second chapter, the symbolic power of plants dialogues with Chaumet’s naturalist heritage.

Wheat

The set anchors one of the emblematic motifs of Chaumet’s stylistic repertoire in the 21st century.

Ever since the wheat ear tiaras loved by Empress Joséphine and the one hundred and fifty diamond ears produced for Empress Marie-Louise, this grass has been repeatedly revisited, becoming a Maison signature.

Inspired by a field at the moment of full maturity, where the ears of wheat crackle in the sun, the Wheat necklace can be worn in three different ways.

A harvest of coppery yellow gold ears sits on a V-shaped aigrette structure set with diamonds, including a 10.25-carat D-FL type IIA emerald-cut stone. Framed as a trembleuse and articulated with one another, the brushed grains tell the story of summer's burning heat, with a thread setting that adds to the beauty of the creation.
Vine Leaf

Composed of four pieces, the set unveils a beautiful array of Mozambique rubies.

To highlight the realism of the white gold tendrils and magnificently textured leaves, the Vine Leaf necklace is paved with 300 stones in five cuts and three different dimensions.

Created one by one, the bezels of these diamonds, black spinels, grey spinels and rubies reveal the extreme complexity of the piece.

Forming an airy lace, the refinements on the backs of the leaves make a virtuosic statement.
The art of High Jewellery
In our 12 Place Vendôme workshop in Paris, jewellers, setters, polishers and gem cutters have created these exceptional pieces for more than 240 years.
