“Comets from the sea” Ring in white and yellow gold, set with an oval Padparadscha sapphire of 3.50 carats from Madagascar, fine pearls, Padparadscha sapphires and fancy colour and brilliant-cut diamonds.
Continuing the Maison’s tradition of pearl work, the “Comets from the sea” Ring unites the stars of the heavens and sea. In honour of this enchanting stone, the Maison's gemologists have worked on an extraordinary collection of fine pearls to create this ring with rows of pearls on which a multicoloured star sits, crowned with a Padparadscha sapphire. Like a shooting star from the oceans, this creation envelops the finger in a trail as luminous as it is precious.
Since its creation in 1780, Chaumet has drawn its inspiration from the elements of nature. Water plays a major role. With Ondes et Merveilles de Chaumet, the Maison dedicates an entire collection of high jewellery to the sea. An invitation to travel, exploring a variety of horizons to tell the story of the sea in all its manifestations, from waves caressing the water’s surface through to underwater treasure hunts, ships in ports of call and the currents of the Gulf Stream.
